FAQ

Here are some frequently asked questions and answers for hiring a VA.

Yes. Myoutdesk bills based on your contract hours, either part time or full time. The good thing is, your VAs are required to schedule a make-up shift with you in order for them to complete the lost hours.

If my VA missed work, will I be billed for that day/work hours?

What's the first thing to do when I hired a VA?

Upon placement of VA, a client success coach that is incharge of your account will get in touch with you to schedule a meet and greet session along with your chosen Virtual Assistant. Any questions you may have will be answered on the meet and greet session.

How do I know if my VA is logged in?

We require our Virtual Assistants to log in on our system tracker called MODCLOCK. In this way, we see who are online. The VAs should be sending you their Start of day/End of day emails as well. If you prefer that they message you on Skype, send a text message that they are logged in, those are also options to consider.

What are the Holidays being observed by Myoutdesk?

Myoutdesk only observes six major U.S. holidays, namely:

Memorial Day   Last Monday in May

Independence Day  July 4

Labor Day   First Monday in September

Thanksgiving Day  Fourth Thursday in November

Christmas Day   December 25

New Year's Day  January 1

The senior team leader that is in charge of your account will de your direct support person. With team Primo, Abbyis your direct support person. She will help assist in any concerns you may have. You can also contact the team here:

Who is in charge of training the Virtual Assistant?

Most clients who become successful with their Virtual Assistants are those who provide a regular feedback/coaching session to their VAs. If your Virtual Assistant is an Inside Sales Agent (ISA), a regular role-play sessions with them would also help. Frequency of such would depend on their pace and needs.
